Customer Captures Amazing Moon Pictures with Reflector Telescope

I love getting feedback from our customers on the products that they have purchased from us and the experiments that they have tried. I love it even more when our customers use the materials we have provided and take them to an entirely new level. That’s why I was so excited to read an email I received from Steve Kuzmich.

Steve purchased our Omega Reflector Telescope to use to look at the Moon… then he hooked up his Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS and took some amazing pictures of the Moon. We always knew that the Omega telescope was an awesome product, but I had no idea what you could do with a telescope, a camera and a tri-pod.

Exciting Product Development – Color Changing Energy Beads Turn Green

I always know that the Spangler Science Product Development Team is going to hit a home run… but I was especially excited when they told me that we were going to have green Solar Beads available for the first time and as the only supplier on the internet.  Maybe I went a little overboard suggesting that we find beads that match the colors for every holiday, but, really, who wouldn’t want UV Beads that turn black for Halloween?  At any rate, we compromised and came up with some really exciting new kits that you can expect to see coming to SteveSpanglerScience.com in the near future.  In the meantime, check out the video below to see what all the buzz is about for these amazing learning tools and check out some of my favorite Energy Bead experiments.

We Hit the Target with Science

Maybe I should say we hit all of the Targets with our new science products. If you stroll through the toy isles at Target stores, you might stumble across some old Steve Spangler Science classics along with a few brand new science kits. All of these kits are part of our product license agreement with Be Amazing Toys, a Salt Lake City company specializing in hands-on science kits and toys for children who want to learn how to do something amazing. On the shelves at Target you’ll find Blizzard in a Bucket, Fun-damental Science, Water Wizardry, Fire and Ice Mountain, Jungle Quicksand, Insta-Worms, Morphin’ Gators, F/X Snow, Terrific Twisters and the best selling Test Tube Wonders. Thanks to everyone who emailed when they saw our creations at their local Target store.
